This is one of the most famous mantras prayers of India, nestled in a triple OM and three times of peace at all levels. Interesting is the arrangement of the words. The I, or ‘me’ (Ma) is always between the pairs of opposites Unreality-Reality (Asato-Sad), Dark-Light (Tamaso-Jyotir) and Death-Immortality/Divine Nectar (Mrityor-Amrutam). Each line ends with a request for guidance (Gamaya) – that’s the point. We always have the choice, the decision is ours, and nobody can do this step for us. But we can always ask for guidance. The deeper this request, this longing is anchored in us, the desire for real knowledge, the awakening from our thousand year long sleep, the more something will happen.

Die ist eines der bekanntesten Mantren-Gebete Indiens, eingebettet in ein dreifaches OM und dem dreifachen Frieden auf allen Ebenen. Interessant ist die Anordnung der Worte. Das Ich, bzw. ‚mich‘ (Ma) steht immer zwischen den Gegensatzpaaren Unwirklichkeit-Wirklichkeit (Asato-Sad), Dunkel-Licht (Tamaso-Jyotir)und Tod-Unsterblichkeit/göttlicher Nektar (Mrityor-Amrutam). Jede Zeile endet mit der Bitte um Führung (Gamaya) – darum geht es. Wir haben immer die Wahl, die Entscheidung liegt bei uns und diesen Schritt kann uns niemand abnehmen. Doch wir können immer um Führung bitten. Je tiefer diese Bitte in uns verankert ist, d. h. der Wunsch nach wirklicher Erkenntnis, nach dem Erwachen aus unserem jahrtausendlangem Schlaf, desto direkter kann die Umsetzung geschehen.

Lasst uns die Wahrheit herausfinden, wer wir wirklich sind, jenseits aller Glaubensmuster und Verstrickungen – hinein in strahlendstes Licht, voller Schöpferkraft! Jay!
